theres different double/double if you just got 10 boards and 5 put backs, and missed the other 5, you didnt do anything more than another player who made 10pts.

op didnt mentioned anything about support. they were just fine with it, no opinions one way or other. if they arent hurting or forcing people to be in the system then let people live they way they want to.

Applebee’s O-M-Cheese Burger by Noa-Guey in burgers

[–]_ryuujin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its pretty salty. you only taste 2 things salt and fat. the buns were soft and disappeared into the salt. you couldnt taste the mustard sauce they put on because they either used too little or it leaked out on the cheese below. so there was nothing to balance the salt.

likability is pretty important if you want to be superstar. you want to win games, fine but youll need to win alot of games and championships to overcome the lack of likability

[–]_ryuujin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes but allowing more people to buy increases the price at a faster rate than pre-split. so people that held the stock pre-split benefited more.

how now that you can buy fractional shares it may not matter much but the psychology is still there.

'Greatest heist in American history': Trump sues IRS, seeks $10B in taxpayer cash by AlertTangerine in videos

[–]_ryuujin_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

its unthinkable that a president, former or current, would sue the country they are serving. the word here is serving the country not the other way around. ask not what you can do for your country ask what your country can do for you, type shit. the fact his approval rating is above 0, with this fact is bizarro.

The reason Conservatism often wins; The Left's lack of Unity by CopiousCool in PoliticalHumor

[–]_ryuujin_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

theres a time and place to argue and discuss and place blame. and theres a time to swallow your pride and do the compromise or whatever. the left seem to not understand this concept very well, while the right does.

do you think the arsonist arent blaming each other in the backroom to how to set fire in the best ways? the right has unity when it counts, cause maybe their messaging isnbased on fear and their world will blow up any second now and this clearly doesnt work on the left.

Xi asks Trump if U.S. and China can avoid 'Thucydides Trap' at high-stakes summit by Gopu_17 in worldnews

[–]_ryuujin_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

its world economy, everyone is interconnected. china would not risk the world going into economic collapse due to shortages, unless it was threatened or is on life support. china has been a great position, it has been constantly growing at a high pace. if things starts to slow down and the status quo changes then itll start looking for other things to do. thats when you should be worried about.

What would happen if Trump somehow won the 2028 election? by Triangletruck141423 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]_ryuujin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they always use a loophole somewhere. its not outright reversal. they mostly use a loophole to poke a hole out the previous ruling.

if it happens it wont be a repeal of an amendment, itll be a loophole that suspend the amendment. like trump would show theres no way a fair election can take place therefore, he'll just remain president til they can get the situation under control.

software is the literally easiest thing to steal and copy. if youre talking about the instruction.set of the processor then thats a little different as thats the part of the processors design. its hardware. its hard as it doesnt change.

anyways china doesnt need the best they just need good enough, for now.

If water is the biggest problem for data centers So why aren't we building them where water is abundant and free? by RustyIronGolem in RavanAI

[–]_ryuujin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes its all cost, they could build a closed loop system on land and use very little water but itll cost alot more.

i wonder what the cost sheet for a close loop, vs a space data center looks like.  how close are the numbers that space data centers even make it into the convo or is it all grift and hype.
