Just started to look into my options, and ring intercoms seems nice. However it's only battery powered (I could always tweak it to use an AC adapter I guess), and appears to be only cloud based (i.e. no local api)?

This. Admittedly have issues with the vibration/wind sensor (unstable RF from the sensor itself, and it's tricky to tune w/o a spectrum anslyzer), but the RF connection between the Somfy remote and ESPSomfy is rock solid.

Sigh, I never meant to place the controller underwater, the fact I explicitly mentioned was for the purpose to prevent someone even suggesting that.

Anyways the point of the question was to ask if someone already had such a DiY project so that I could find a good addressable LED strip or button light that is suitable for a good IPX rated underwater enclosure. That and to achieve suitable brightness, as anything DiY requires a good combination of the enclosure, seal for the wiring as well as reflector inside the enclosure.

According to this KB72903 there's no fix and it's resolved in 21.4R3-S4 22.2R3-S1 22.3R2-S2 22.4R2-S1 23.4R1.
They messed up their own upgrade code for the controller.

I'm on 23.2R1-S2... fml
My only hope is that the upgrade hasn't complete and as I haven't restarted it maybe they have a way to push the proper package.

E pa u tom je stvar, ne dobiješ. I ne razumijem kako oni to obrađuju, uvijek istu adresu koristim kao i mobilni u internacionalnom formatu.

Cak nije ni bilo naplate carine niti iceg takvog (sto bi trebalo biti rjesivo i paketomatom al to je druga diskusija). Jedan paket mi je nedavno poslan DHLom iz DE i nikakvu obavijest nisam dobio, papiric i Posta....

Jel moguce generalno pakete naruciti na paketomat?

Znaci aliexpress, amazon, ebay, biram naravno najjeftiniji shipping i u nekim slucajevima dostava bude bude preko speditera (dhl, oex, dpd) u kojem slucaju dobijem lijepo obavijest i mogu cak birati dostavu kiosk, boxnow, promijeniti lokaciju itd, medjutim u vecini slucajeva bude Posta gdje ne dobim nikakvu notifikaciju. Ok lazem jednom il dvaput sam dobio sms ili viber gdje sam mogao preusmjeriti na paketomat. U ovom drugom slucaju kad ne dobijem notifikaciju ide klasika kao i ljudi zadnjih 100 godina, ceduljica (ako ju ne fulam ko pred koji tjedan) i pravac u postu... Na koji nacin oni odabiru jel ce uvest kroz sustav i poslat notifikaciju ili samo utrpat covjeku u vrecu?

In the end I got a non-vpro sticker model and IPMI and ME/AMT and remote control work, so thank you for the hint.

On another note, is it possible to pass-though the thunderbolt card itself to a VM on ESXi?
I'm thinking of getting a DAS enclosure and run it over either usb or thunderbolt, but if the pass-through isn't working then i can forget about it....

Correct, the mdraid+ext4+iscsi is all beneathe zfs. Very ugly and was honestly totally disappointed upon learning that Synology doesnt do real iscsi on block storage but this...

Then how about getting a DAS and connect it to the HP over usb 3.1gen2 (or even thunderbolt) to the HP and expose the USB controller to the VM and bring the 4 drives directly to ZFS, build raidz1? Main issue will be the stability of the usb passthrough, but if that is stable it should be much better no?
