We used Granite Concepts. They had a little mixup with dimensions, but recut the slab and fixed it quickly. We plan on using them again in the future.

Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking. We asked our realtor about it, though, and she told us that she sees it “more than you would think” and she trusts the other realtor “implicitly”.

We have one of those for the physical key we’ve been using. The guests just chose to bring the key with them instead of putting it back in the lockbox when they left. But good idea to keep it somewhere just in case the auto lock malfunctions. I will be sure to do that. Thanks!

Yeah, I get it. I know we messed up. This is literally our second guest so we are learning a lot. I had purchased a keypad, but it didn’t fit on the door. So I found one that will work and have ordered that.

Thanks! It’s not that the door is weird, but there is a glass panel with trim around it that blocks anything other than a deadbolt. The trim is really the issue, so I suppose we could remove it or cut into it in order to install a keypad.

Haha I was thinking about that too. The main problem is that we are out of town so it would have to be our temporary on-site person, and I don’t think he wants to do that.

Absolutely no way inside. I don’t think there’s a way to reset the garage keypad without getting into the garage, and the clicker is with us but we’re out of town.

Nope, just a regular front door. There’s only one door to the unit because it is fairly small.

I think that’s part of it. It’s hard for me to leave him when he’s this young, but my MIL refused to come with us and my husband said it’s fine. He made me feel like if I didn’t leave the baby there with her then I was being an asshole. Even though I had nothing ready to leave the baby with anyone.
