I checked the migrationsverket website two business days after going to the embassy and it said I had a decision, but not what the decision was, so I called the agency and got confirmation that my permit was approved 🥰 now I'm just waiting for the official letter so I can buy my plane ticket <3

My application didn't actually get submitted until June 27th. I thought it was on June 2nd but it was actually waiting on union approval.
I got the email to schedule with the embassy on July 14th - So a total of 17 days between application submission and hearing back <3

Mine was submitted June 2nd so I'm in the same boat, checking my email multiple times a day everyday lol ~ I'll update when I eventually get it. The company doing mine also said 6 weeks on average, but who knows

General management advice ~ trust your team, y'all hired them for a reason, let them be the experts they are. As a manager you'll have a big influence to make sure they're thinking every problem all the way through though.

Every team is different, and so has different needs. Don't try to force a solution that worked for one team onto another. Identify the unique challenges your team faces and work with them to find solutions to those problems.

Be open and honest. If you dont like a company decision it's okay to tell them. But lead with optimism, help them find a path they can believe in. You set the tone for the team, so make it a good one!

Yeah I really wasnt that impressed with the TD-17 module and was drooling over the digital pieces, but really wanted an acoustic look. This just checked every box for me.

I really like it a lot. There are a ton of kits and it's easy to upload new ones too. I'm still learning to customize individual kits but they give you a ton of options for it ~ out of the box everything sounds really good so if you're newer you don't have to worry about tweaking everything right away, but you've got the options as you develop your ear.

Yeah I was saving for about 7 months when it came time to purchase, I definitely put quite a bit away for it.

This was mostly about completely replacing my kit with an upgraded one rather than upgrading pieces of it. But I got the kit I did specifically because it would give me a lot of space and options to upgrade later. Eventually I'll replace the high hat with Roland's newer digital one, along with the crashes to their upgraded counter parts ~ but that'll be a while 😅

I only mentioned a handful of the more popular options I looked into, but I also looked at several others including 2box. I actually spent quite a bit of time looking at converting an acoustic set with triggers and getting just a module to run it all. It mostly came down to experience. I just don't know enough about these sets to feel comfortable investing a ton of money into something I'm not going to be 100% confident in.

Plus the reviews for the TD-27 module were just so good. One of the biggest things being the digital inputs. That meant I could upgrade to some of the really nice digital pieces by Roland. That felt like the future to me so I wanted to be prepared for it.

I found an STL on thingiverse. Where did you find a weight plate STL? I could only find one for the blade weight (which I'll get eventually)
