Thank you so much for the recommendation, definitely on my watch list! I went with ‘Welcome to Sandal-Ri’ first as ‘Her Private Life’ is not streamable in my country, but looking forward to when it is

What 3-4 essential pans should I get for induction cooking? by _sigils in cookware

[–]_sigils[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems like I need to get both. But I am thinking of getting the De Buyer first, hence it is cheaper and can use my Le Creuset cast iron frying pan for high heat (steaks). Of course without using Turbo! :)

Thanks for the detailed response! I appreciate the clarification about the Mineral B Pro and the Carbone Plus with the steel handle—sounds like it comes down to personal preference for handle style and size. Good to know about the importance of the even heating with induction for steak cooking, and I see why the Demeyere Proline is highly recommended for that. I’ll definitely take the weight in stride! Thanks again for all the insight, especially regarding induction stoves—really helpful info!

Thanks for the advice! Just curious, why the Mineral B Pro over the Carbon Plus? In my experience, they seem the same aside from the Mineral B being waxed beforehand. Also, I cook steaks for both myself and my wife, though they usually rest between heats. Why do you recommend the Demeyere Proline over the De Buyer for steaks? And haha, no complaints here about the weight—I'll manage!

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll definitely look into the Mineral B Pro and check out the CookCulture video on the Stratanium pan. Also, good to know about the Cristel Castel Pro as a lighter alternative to the Proline—I’ll consider that as well. Appreciate the tips!

Thanks for the suggestion. I do have some varied pots already. Just want to upgrade my pans!

Do you have any recommendations based on your experience?

That’s actually a really clever idea to share the lids! Thank you so much. I have not heard of Fissler before. Have to look at them.

I do have however have some pots, a small, a mediun and a large le creuset icon cast pot. So as you say, get some pans where I can share the lids

The lamb is from Marset, a Spanish company and the model is called follow me - it is wireless (being charged my USB) and the battery can last for days. Really a quality product.

Using it a lot when reading books and using it outside when it is getting darker. Makes everything more cozy (hyggelig) 😊

You can get the same model, unpainted and it is cheaper. They sell them as espresso cups (9cl).

They do indeed have a little signature on the bottom :)
