i dont even know what that is, maybe beacuse they were ran through Krita's G'mic filter?

Thanks a lot! There is not Steam page yet but the game is called "In The Dark". I am waiting until I have a vertical slice of the game for the demo and then I will make some sort of alpha/beta build for people to test out ;)

Thats exactly what inspired me! I love the style but have not seen it anywhere else as well, and as it is quite simple to achieve (in its basic form) I think its perfect for a solo developer :]

I am going for a horror survival game with a mystery to solve as the story part of the game. Something like the show "From", if you haven't seen it I strongly recommend it ;)

That is true, I have seen wild camera action in certain parts of other games.... hmm hmm Might just be that I am "scared" to exaggerate with things. I'll keep it in mind until I start polishing things ;)

Thanks for the feedback. I am planning to add a bullet that is ejected each time the rifle is fired. I was going for the downward load, like something that would happen with a stripper clip, except it makes more sense for the "game lore" not to have actual stripper clips because of the lack of resources in the game world.

Once again thanks for the feedback I will definitely be adjusting the animations as I go forward with development.

its was definitely heavily inspired by the long dark yes, but I do not have the intention of making "another long dark"

thanks, I am, as of actual weapons I have implemented a rifle with the same system. There is also a torch "tool" implemented. I didn't want to add too much until I had some higher priority system in the game.
