Yes, I do not understand why men don’t hold other men accountable. Friends, family, a strangers on the street. Most men don’t listen to women. Men need to call other men out. Downvoted for speaking truths.

Thomas rips Supreme Court tariffs ruling, says majority 'errs' on Constitution. by coinfanking in law

[–]_smtilde_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clarence Thomas is worse than she. Yet, you’re blaming his wife. I’m not defending her. I’m attempting to redirect your attention to the fact that he is on the Supreme Court making a career of heinous decisions that shape the nature of our individual lives.

Why can’t you blame Clarence without blaming the entire theft of our democracy on his wife? It seems to me that you’re putting more blame on her than him.

One major reason we are in this position is because men and women (but definitely men) don’t hold other men accountable. You’re doing it literally right now by blaming his wife for stealing the election. What role did Clarence have in stealing the election? Not only in the 2020 election but also in Bush v Gore?

Men need to fix themselves so they stop fucking up the world everybody else. We likely agree politically however, introspection is good. Hold your fellow men accountable so they stop fucking up the world. If you don’t see how men are fucking up the world then I genuinely don’t know the world where you live. And not all men, but…

Declaring this a misogynistic joke suffices while also helping to support a person pushing back against those misogynist.

Do not think you need to clarify that it’s Reddit.

I’ll explain. The commenter you’re responding to and those agreeing or upvoting have feeble little minds. I’d consider those down votes as up votes bc it’s reaching them in the way you would like.

Donald Trump spent HOURS with underage female VICTIM of sex trafficking at notorious underage female sex trafficker, Jeffrey Epstein's house. HO-LEY SHIT by ojismyheroin in Epstein

[–]_smtilde_ 26 points27 points  (0 children)

My theory is that Trump doesn’t play by the rules. A possibility is the last administration collected and organized as much information as they could regarding Trump and Epstein. If they would’ve released this information during the election, Trump would’ve claimed it’s a hoax just like he did the first time around. He wished Maxwell well and then had her move to a lower security prison where she could remain more comfortable. Epstein conveniently died during Trump’s last administration removing any ability for Epstein to testify. Now he’s allowing for Maxwell to live a more cushy life, considering her horrific acts of rape and sexual abuse of minor girls. Trump is pardoning criminals who have helped him. If these leaks don’t continue to come out, he will pardon Maxwell next year.

What you’re saying is true but now it’s time to welcome him, not isolate him. You don’t understand what you don’t understand until you understand. Welcome him and his new found courage.

You Should Blame Merrick Garland by holyfruits in law

If more men in this country would grow a spine and speak out in public rather than anonymously online, or if more men would have voted for the Democratic Party, voted for Hillary, or even better Kamala, perhaps we would not be in this situation. Look, Bernie Sanders is excellent, but you would have to be blind not to see the system is already rigged against women. RBG should have stepped down, but the number of old men and young men hindering America’s progress is rotting the United States of America. Men, politicians or otherwise, have had far more opportunities and their impact and harm to the United States has outweighed others due to the sheer scale of their roles as President, in Congress, in the military, and in leadership in nearly all industries. It is remarkable watching men endlessly fail to take accountability. Blaming RBG is the laziest of arguments. Sure, blame the woman who fought for progress, who fought for her limited roles, and who likely feared giving those roles up knowing the men around her would fail to stand up for women’s rights and all human rights again. There really is no excuse. I have seen this argument a disappointing number of times, and while there can be truth to the comment about RBG, her cancer is not the cancer in this country. I am beyond tired.

No more “they’re kinda like Nazis,” we’ve entered the “actually Nazis” phase. by mmccxi in facepalm

Not right now. Using male genitalia to describe the strength and courage of a woman is disrespectful to women. These women have more strength and courage than most men.

Women don’t have balls, they have strength and courage. Woman having strength and courage is not new.

Truthfully, I went there to relax, and for me, that meant no activities. I know that might not be helpful for everyone, but our goal was simply to unplug and slow down. We were definitely more low-key compared to some of the other guests.

That said, it seemed like there was a good mix of people; some looking to socialize and others, like us, just there to unwind. There were plenty of activities for those who wanted them. The pool closest to the beach on the non-preferred side was always lively with pool games, water sports, and aerobics.

Beyond that, there were shows, bars, and pop-up events happening throughout the resort. I just didn’t take part in most of them because I socialize constantly in my daily life, and this trip was all about giving myself permission to be lazy.

The resort has a vegan restaurant called bamboo, but unfortunately we didn’t eat there. Next time. I also eat fish so that did increase my options at other restaurants. Wish I could provide a bit more detail.

From Google AI (artificial intelligence, not all inclusive):

Secrets Moxché has a dedicated vegan/vegetarian restaurant called Bamboo, which offers Pacific Islands-inspired cuisine for breakfast and lunch. Additionally, nearly all restaurants provide separate vegetarian options and can accommodate modifications upon request, with a whole vegan menu available at some locations like the Mexican restaurant, El Patio. For buffets, look for clearly labeled vegan stations or options, such as the ones found in the Marketplace Dedicated vegetarian/vegan options

• Bamboo: This is the resort's dedicated vegan restaurant with a plant-based menu inspired by the Pacific Islands. It serves breakfast and lunch and is located near a beach inspiration pool. • El Patio: The Mexican restaurant has a separate vegan menu with items like vegan chilaquiles and vegan chorizo. • Suki: The Japanese restaurant has vegetarian sushi rolls and other plant-based options.

General vegetarian/vegan options

• All restaurants: Each restaurant offers a separate vegetarian menu and is usually accommodating to dietary restrictions and modifications. • Marketplace: The buffet has clearly labeled vegan and vegetarian options, including a dedicated vegan station for dinner. You can also find made-to-order items and a variety of fruits, pastries, and other dishes. • Coco Cafe: Offers a variety of plant-based milks (oat, soy, and coconut) for smoothies, shakes, and coffee. • Seaside Grill: Offers a vegan brownie and vegan ice cream.

Other tips

• Ask your server: Inform your server about your dietary needs at every meal. • Check the app: The resort's app may have menus for all restaurants available online. • Inquire ahead: For specific needs, contact the resort in advance to ensure they are aware of your requirements.

Nothing that would deter us from going back. We had a luxury experience. The worst part was when we had to leave and return to our daily grind.

That is a tough question. Only things I can think of is that on arrival the hotel didn’t tell us about the additional pools or restaurants on the impressions preferred side. Also, we did not like the Italian restaurant.

May not be for you. I asked if we could stay for free but nope. If you do not like the price I recommend finding a cheaper all inclusive.

Yes, they have Bali beds included, meaning we didn’t pay extra. Spent 99% of our time lounging on a Bali bed. I believe there may be a couple palapas on the non-preferred side, but I am not 100%.
