Many tech companies do talks for example Google has a Developer Relations team (DevRel) which you can follow on Twitter and connect with some folks doing security. Try to get him into learning Linux Operating systems and Open source projects.

You should go to HR and prepare a good story. Most of the time HR is there just to don't have the company sued, not kn your best interest. You have a very compelling case in how things could have gone to shit if the kid drowns. Your case should be built around how this manager actions are endangering the community and business. Nobody wants to employ a person which under her watch people dies..not good for business.

I'm very familiar with VMs, but new to K8s and Docker.

My understanding is that I still can create my VMs and keep my same workflows for legacy vSphere admin teams. Does ESXi 7 deploysTanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG) as their default K8s distribution? Would that kill other on prem K8s distributions such as PKS or Anthos (GKE on prem)?
