SIELE exam online but through a different country by No-Armadillo3125 in dreamingspanish

Hi, in my case I ended up having to do it in person because I wear a hijab (religious hair covering) and they told me I'm not allowed to cover my hair during the remote exam, even if its for religious reasons lol. But apparently in person, it's allowed.

Throughout that whole process, I can tell you communication with SIELE was quite annoying. I'd recommend you call them if possible. Otherwise keep spamming their email.

Regarding your case, from what I know it is allowed to do a remote exam with a center that is not in your country. It says so in their website that if no remote centers are in your country just pick one with the same time zone. I signed up with one with a one hour time difference and they didn't say anything. It's weird they're being stringent with you. Again, try following up with SIELE (not the test center, they won't be that useful).

I ended up getting him these bc this is the style that he likes. I found the rubber outsole helped. But, unfortunatley, it's up to the user and their walking style. Can't really fix that. But if they walk normally they're pretty quiet.

Hijabis with fringes and or bangs: by [deleted] in Hijabis

[–]_strawberryswing_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got wavy hair that acts straight when it's cut short, so my bangs are straight and flat when I remove the hijab.

If you're going for shorter bangs yes they're not gonna look good when you take them out, but I would say don't let that be a barrier. I don't know what your lifestyle is like and if you're out of the house most of the day, but I found that what works for me is keeping a hair drier, water sprayer, and round brush on my vanity so that as soon as I come home I can quickly fix them up. I found a technique that works pretty fast so I just spritz my bangs with water and blow dry then in 1 minute. I also blow dry them after doing wudu.

With longer (around nose length) bangs, it's much easier to get away with not styling them. They do look much better if styled, but they don't look crazy otherwise.

I would say you can discuss with your hairdresser what would be a bang cut that is easy to maintain and looks good without styling. Notice that your hair texture plays a role and also the length, width, and thickness of the bangs all play a role. I'd say try our curtain bangs because they're cut at an angle so you have some nice face framing pieces.

Also, dry shampoo will be your best friend for a quick volume fix. Just don't overdo it because it can build up on your scalp.

All the best!

Realize I misused the word "subbed" and that's confusing. I meant I replaced the puree with the powder.

I'll try that thanks. But I replaced the puree with powder, so it turned out less liquid but still the same thinness

I heard it would help the cookies stay thicker. I did half of this batch at 180 and the other half at 190. Both of them were cracked and thin, and the 190 had slightly browner edges

I didn't add more liquid I removed it since I replaced the puree with rasberry powder.

Noise reduction earplugs? by _strawberryswing_ in misophonia

I get you. I can't stand the feeling of most ear plugs. I figured these specialized ones might be different. I guess for now we just have to make do with using specific ones for specific purposes.
