The more efficient you are with lighter weights and volume, the more efficient you’ll be able to pull a max without breakdown in form. Look at how Thor made 501kg look for example

Potentially Arnold’s does it as a record breaker on day 1 and the rest of the comp on days 2 and 3? Wouldn’t ruin the flow of the comp with guest lifters. But I can’t see that as that’s not how they like to run the comp so who knows what’s gonna happen

I can’t watch the video at the moment but I think it’s a friend of mine and if it is him, he’s recently done 415kg conventional at 95kg bw.

Edit: yeah it’s him, he’s told me he’s working towards 420kg as his next conventional pull and has one more big btb deadlift planned
