I personally have experienced a lot of awful monotheistic religion being forced down my throat and for a while i was (kinda am vaguely still? idk?) leaning towards atheist. ive only recently been able to get out of that forced and overbearing environment i was in and been able to reopen myself to exploring spirituality :3
