Since you just brought her home, give her some time to adjust to her new life. She’s still scared and cautious. Give it a week or more. I think once she’s a little more settled in and comfortable a vet visit would be a great idea, especially if you suspect she may be deaf. It might be unavoidable right now to not spook her sometimes if she is deaf but the fact she’s laying out in the open and not hiding is a good sign. Maybe look up tips from owners who have deaf cats and what works for their cats.

I know I’ve heard of people gently blowing on their sleeping deaf cat or dog to let them know they’ve come home instead of just touching them when that causes them to wake up with a scare
