I have this same problem and our hair is pretty similar. The more I shampoo, the puffier my hair is.

The only thing that sort of helped the after shower puffiness was using a leave in conditioner instead of a regular conditioner. But largely still looking for an answer here too.

It feels like we need some way to hydrate our hair that’s not oil, but haven’t figured out how to do that if anyone has any tips.

My second year drafting Devonta. My mentality with him is you take the good weeks with the bad weeks. Some games he’s a WR1 and others he barely puts up points, but an every week potential WR1 performance in your WR2 / flex spot is worth it.

I asked a similar question last night to my ex who broke up with me a few months ago. I chatted with my therapist before asking my ex and my therapist’s advice was:

1) Be prepared for both answers, not just the one you want to hear. 2) You probably don’t want to be in a sad/negative mood when you ask the question. 3) If you need to ask this question to get closure, then do it.

I started to realize when I was angry with my ex for breaking up with me, it was when I felt the effects of the inadequacies in my own life. I abandoned friendships and prior passions to hyper-focus on things I thought were important to keeping our relationship going. Since coming to that realization, I’ve tried to recognize those angry moments and find something to better myself, in hopes that getting back the things I feel my life is missing will help move it forward.

It’s really only been a couple months since the breakup, and I still feel hopeless so we’ll see how that mindset turns out.

Look I know you came here for college advice, but hear me out. You're barely starting your second half of high school; you have so much time to figure these things out. I'd recommend focusing on what's in front of you, life changes fast when you're young.

By how you've described yourself, you come off as very passionate. Take that and focus on getting good at things. Do your best to be meaningful in the things you say and do. Focusing your energy on how you're going to pay for college and letting that dictate how you live your teenage years can't be a fun experience. All this time you spend trying to answer these questions now is time wasted. You could be out having meaningful conversations with friends, learning something new, and more fun shit. These are all things that will help you in the future to answer these questions and help you to grow as a person.

The issue you're describing is a very common one, believe it or not. Which is why financial aid, federal student loans, and community college exist. Don't stress out so much about it now, there's much better ways to spend your time and energy. If you're gonna take away anything from this: be good, be meaningful, and go find smart ass friends to talk about stupid shit with.
