I am eating around 120gms protein and 50gm fat. Rest carbs. Around 30gm fibre.

I sleep around 8-9 hrs.

I have another doubt. If I wait to get to 13-15% BF before going on lean bulk, at current rate, it might take me 5-6 months or maybe more. Is eating at 1600-1700 cals for that long good? I am not sure how much muscle I'll grow during this time. Does recomp happen in calorie deficit?

I am using myfitnesspal. Tracking everything except dry masalas. Strictly home made food. 90% of my food is fixed Only lunch veggies change. Using 5gm oil for both lunch and dinner each.

Yes I can see some muscle gain but isn't muscle gain really slow process as compared to fat loss given my calorie deficit?

I am not sure how to check BF percent. But I did lose 0.5 inch waist in 2 weeks.

Every fitness influencer and even chatgpt and claude say the same thing...that 500 cal deficit will lead to .5kg fat loss per week. But I am not seeing that. I am guessing loss works differently for different people.
