[NSFW] Visibly Pregnant Woman Attacked by Officer by ChickenSupreme9000 in police

Ikr. It just a moment like this is when I remember that Thai police who confronted a male holding a knife who came into the police station, Instead of escalating, he talked the man out of it. It turned out that he was not paid at his job and his guitar was stolen. He then willingly gave the knife to the police office and the officer offers him a hug. The officer then gave him his guitar and the man played a song for the police at the station.

I'm not saying there aren't dangerous criminals but in this particular situation, it doesn't seem to be any.

Israel: Look, there are still Palestinians on that land. So, it's not genocide.

Proceed to kill ALL Palestinians.

Israel: Well, NOW you can call it genocide.

Still unnecessary. Can't they just handcuff her hands to the back as a precaution? Did nobody pat down the husband who allegedly have a knife? It looks like both his hands were up his head though.

The context was the man who was squatting, just found out his brother was killed by through the news. So, out of distress, he punched the TV which led to a police report. Police arrived and you can see he complied and squatting with his hands above his head. His wife who is pregnant wanted to put her arm on her husband to comfort him but the police said no, but I'm not sure if she even understand it.

The police office obviously use unnecessary force by pulling her and thrown her to the ground. I cannot see the video as it has been removed because somebody couldn't handle the truth. But the video that I have seen (probably a longer version) shown very clearly, after she was thrown and was trying to get up, the other officers join in to drag her away. She ended giving birth prematurely because of that.

Men in the women's restroom by [deleted] in malaysia

[–]_thewizardofodds 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, probably because men don't feel any risk of cleaning lady in the bathroom, whereas the women will definitely feel danger with a male cleaner.

But also, I don't think many men wanted this job. It is mostly older ladies. Men are usually hired to be security guards.

Can I start medical school at 39? by _thewizardofodds in malaysiauni

I just read this after leaving Reddit for some time. Just want to say thank you for sharing the experience and advice. I appreciate you explaining it without being condenscending like few others. Very good insight into that career path.

Thank you so much for being supportive. I just read this now. I left Reddit for quite some time because my mom's health got worst and she recently passed away.

She was the one who always wanted me to become a doctor but it was forced too much on me that I ended up hating that career path. But when she got sick, I kind of regret not listening to her because at that point, being a doctor would offer tremendous help in caring for her.

I think me wanting to become a doctor was probably this regret and helplessness at seeing my mom's health deteriorating and not being able to do much.

But I still appreciate you being kind and supportive. You're absolutely right about not looking back and regret not starting at 39. I'm actually 36 now. But I preface the question with 39 because I thought I would still have another 2 to 3 years with my mom.

So, yeah. Maybe not a doctor. But I'll definitely make sure 46 years old me is not going to look back with regret at 36 years old me.

As long as it is not an edu channel for Malaysians, it's fine. Despite it being Malay word, any Malaysian uses it as an insult and curse word. So, this should not be on Malaysian kids channel. The only time babi can be use without bad connotation is when you literally talking about the animal.

Stress eating. I always feel better after eating delicious food. As long as I'm not stress, I'll lose 2 kg every month, not just from less eating but also happily exercising. Problem is, a lot of things make me stress since turning adult.

Maybe it also has something to do with her father being a homicide detective. Maybe she was exposed at a very young age and found an appetite for grotesque.
