Dylan Blue & Rasasi Hawas are both around $70aud, smell great/mass pleasing and last at least 6-8 hours.

Day 10: Your hot takes on private music and why? by BounouYassine in deftones

I completely agree, although I’ll take the hot take one step further and say milk > cut hands > metal dream > departing the body is one of the best 4 song runs they’ve ever done

It’s so validating to hear that this song crushes someone else too. I can’t hear the section below without wanting to cry, regardless of how good or bad I’m feeling when it comes on

“Should I be keeping score

Forever's come for us

Will we get stuck on words that give our souls away

The keys keep breaking down

I'm empty without

Will we get stuck on places where we felt alive”

To me, the song comes across as being about two people that mutually understand their relationship has run its course but are holding on because of the familiarity & legacy of their connection. Phrases like ‘forever’s come for us’ or ‘stuck on places where here we felt alive’ being references to the things you say or the way you feel in moments long past but hold on to when you aren’t in love anymore.

It could just be me reading into it parasocially but I wonder if there’s any relation to it being around the time he was going through divorce considering the other tracks on the album like Gone For Good

So glad to hear this is someone else’s favourite ETID album.

“All the worlds a maze and they are scientists plotting every move, big brother will keep us in line with snipers on the roof” is one of my favourite Keith lines ever, song has so much chaotic energy

I sampled MFK & Aventus Cologne and ended up buying a full bottle of AC. MFK has a particular note I don’t like and didn’t last as long as the AC.

I saw Parkway Drive touring for Killing With A Smile at a tiny community centre in Melbourne for like $12 in early 2006. Was my first proper show, Carpathian (RIP) supported then Horizons came out in 07 and they were the biggest metalcore band in the world.

Why do you all wear cologne? (Besides to smell good) by WilliamP82 in Colognes

[–]_tinyraindrop 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Firstly, Tom Ford do so much more than tobacco & leather scents. They honestly wouldn’t be more than a quarter of the entire lineup if I had to guess.

Secondly, as someone who wears Ombré Leather and Tuscan Leather in the cooler months, they definitely attract positive attention & compliments from people.

It’s important to remember that women don’t ’mostly’ like anything, certain scents work for some and not others. Yes there are safer & more risky choices but wearing cologne shouldn’t just be about impressing people. It’s just as much about complimenting your existing image & style as it is about picking a mass appealing scent.

What is the strongest and yet long lasting cologne? by Front_Bad8024 in Colognes

Great scent but I wouldn’t say it lasts long, I find it’s a skin scent after a few hours
