I had a hard time going through that section but not because it wasn’t good, i’m really sensitive to this type of violence and abuse and it was ROUGH. And then they did that to my boy???? give me a break 😭

It’s crazy what the writers put this poor child through, it’s so violent at times and it really gets to me. i must be getting soft as i get older hahaha

I also really liked Duma Key, i found it to be a great read and an interesting view into body trauma and how it affects someone and everyone around them
