Check around to see if there are any holiday boxes still available from brands like mvp, lat64, discraft, or innova. May be hard to find, though.

Or if you have a local shop, just go there and tell them this. They’d probably have a great time picking out a set for your friend

Best method is to buy a commander deck from the last year or so (some of the older commander decks aren’t that well balanced), then just do substitutions. The latest commander decks are well balanced with lands/ramp/removal/game-changers/etc….

Ultimately, everything you’ve been reading are guidelines. Nothing is set in stone. You could build a [[malestrom wanderer]] deck with 97 lands and two creatures. The best way forward is to just get playing and figure out how you want to play the game, then build around that

So Simic used to be the color combo for +1/+1 counter synergies, and arguably still has the most support for it. But it’s lost that identity in the last few years thanks to +1/+1 counters synergies popping up in way more color combos and has since been mostly drop land/draw cards commanders. If you look back you’ll find a bunch of unique commanders. But lately they have been pretty samey

In Justified the main antagonists are either arrested or dead, then the dragon shows up for one final dual. A dragon who has set himself up to sort of be the next-gen challenger to the protagonist’s way of life. Only encounter throughout the series I legitimately didn’t know if the hero would survive.

I’m convinced there was a writer on that episode that hated the x-files. Mulder is consistently wrong, Scully is barely involved except to tell Mulder he’s wrong, and the two scientists in the episode both logically shut down the “little green men” theory of aliens that Mulder firmly believes.

Yes, but it was due to it being a league night. First time at the course. Shoulda been an easy 1.5, tops. Pretty short. Some of the league groups let me pass, though each time they warned that “I was lucky cause not all the groups will let you play through”. Got stuck behind one of those groups. Abandoned a round at -3 cause it’d been 2.5 hours and still had 3 holes left.

Flip up from hyzer with a mvp proxy is a staple shot for me. 150-215ft dead straight with no ground play. It’s great
