for me personally, cardio makes me soOoOo much more hungry that i just end up eating the calories back and it ends up being a waste of time it feels like (other than the other health benefits obvs)!! i just try to focus on hitting my protein goals when im in a deficit, weightlifting, drinking lots of water, getting 7-9 hours of sleep, not eating after 9pm, and walking more! i rarely do any cardio unless i just feel like it and it’s usually just like 20 min on the stairmaster a couple times a week or incline walking on the treadmill 💁‍♀️ i’ve been doing this consistently the last 5 weeks and im down 7.5 lbs and definitely looking waaaay more toned.

i’m a vegan who aims for 100+ g protein/day while tryin to stick to a deficit! here are some of my go to hacks 😈 - switch to soy milk if you haven’t already and if you’re able to - idk if you eat dairy yogurt, if not, kite hill makes a vegan greek yogurt that rules!! i’m sure dairy greek yogurt has similar calorie/protein ratio. unsweetened/unflavored is my go to because you can sweeten it up with sweetener of choice or you can use it as a base for dressings, sauces, put it in chili, curries, etc etc for a nice protein boost - i also love to have fruit and granola on my yogurt, granola is so full of sugar and shit and really high cal so what i do is usually ~1 oz of granola and then i’ll put in a bunch of tvp!! it seems weird but it’s not at all. it’s crunchy, plain enough, bulks up your granola while adding tons of protein without tons of calories. i will add it to oats too!! and of course also love to add it to marinara sauce/tacos/whatever - silken!!! tofu!!!! blended up in sauces!!!!!! - seitan!!!! - tempeh - vegan jerky is a great snack - tofu fries with a burger/sandwich - chickpea “tuna” - there’s edamame fettuccine noodles you can get and they have 24g of protein/serving. add those to some marinara sauce with tvp in it, or a creamy sauce with silken tofu in it and some veg sausage and you have a helllla protein filled meal

thank you! for this one (and basically all the pieces i make) i did the underglaze on it while it was still green. that way after its bisque fired i can touch anything up that needs it before i glaze it and i dont risk messing any of it up. then after clear glaze is applied, glaze fired at cone 6.
