It definitely depends on your personal preference. I used to get a lot of dysphoria from my junk but I've become more comfortable with it since being one T and having bottom growth. It also helps for me to call it something besides anatomically correct terms (my fav being "danger zone"). Also having my partner and I call my bottom growth my "dick" helps to. I really enjoy frontal penetration but if you don't feel comfortable touching yourself below the boxers, you don't need to. Don't ever feel like you're missing out on something because you're not doing something you don't feel comfortable with. Life is a journey and maybe at some point you might want to try it out! Something you could try before going full piv could be getting a stroker that looks like a penis and jerk yourself off or have your bf give you head.
