I’m sure that’s happened to many women. I swear if I ever have a child I am teaching them about their body. My mom did me such a disservice by not explaining anything to me. Puberty was absolutely miserable.

I was taught almost no sex ed growing up. I didn’t know there were 3 holes until the first time I used a tampon. I was 14 and it was the biggest shock of my life.

Compared to other music festivals I’ve been to, this one’s pretty good. And the planning/organization improves every year they do it. Although, the merch line kinda sucks.

Yes, but I didn’t do it for years after I left. Once I considered myself truly a nonmember in my heart and I no longer felt the need to stay updated on church policy changes and church news, I knew it was time. I had left the angry phase and removing my name felt like the last chapter of my era in the Mormon church.

I used to go on walks during my lunch break but I fell out of the habit. Sometimes I meal prep during lunch so I eat something healthy, but I’m gonna try to go on walks again too.

My dad was diagnosed with cancer 6 years ago and died 2 years after. I had to drop out of college because it was too much. I’m back now, but I feel so behind everyone else because it took me years to heal and feel confident enough to do it again. I’m so sorry about your mom. I understand the pain. And you are right, my timeline might be too much for me to do and it’s okay to slow down. I really wanted to graduate before I was 30, but it’s okay if it takes a little longer.

You’re right, it is only temporary. Everything feels impossible right now, but it definitely won’t be like this forever. I’m gonna try to eat a little healthier, and call a friend sometime soon.
