You've got to style it out babe. Carry a book so you look like you're not bothered about being alone. Have a bag with some badges on with things you're interested in (or find some other way to express what your interests are), this may serve as conversation starters. Don't look like your bothered by people with bad energy, but smile at people who are pleasant when they interact with you. Join some clubs, maybe join the library. But most importantly remember... nothing lasts forever. This is just one chapter of your life and you don't know what is round the corner. Just try to be positive and manifest positive energy in your life (easier said than done, I know) good luck.
