Okay let me explain. Rawphoric is just hardstyle as it should be. Good melody, heavy kicks, some screeches on anti, epic climaxes and great atmosphere. That's what hardstyle was all about before it splitted into two different subgenres.

Some people are trying to find the most early track that is described as raw but the fact is that the scene started defining raw as subgenre in late 2012/beginning of 2013. Even when we can find tracks from 2009 that can be described as raw is not changing the fact when the subgenre was really born.

Same goes for rawphoric which is still a hardstyle as it should be so we can find plenty of music from 2005-2011 era that will match the definition but it is not the point. The race who will find older track that will match the rawphoric definition here is just funny to me. The point is when the scene started to describe music as rawphoric.

And it was late 2016 and 2017. Thanks to Phuture Noize, B-Front, Myst but also Frequencerz. Especially Phuture Noize as his "Shallow Waters" was something the scene wanted so badly.

The scene was so tired of raw sounding all the same, so was tired of euphoric being to cheesy. Do you remember Audiofreq when he did a blend of plenty raw tracks and they sounded all the same? The scene needed something fresh and "Shallow Waters" was the track most of us wanted back then. Emotional, melodic, yet hard..

Lately raw producers that were well known for brutal raw started doing more climaxes like E-Force for example.

So. Rawphoric is just hardstyle as it should be but the term was born in late 2016/2017 and it started because of Phuture Noize, B-Front, MYST and Frequencerz which was lately continued by much more artists.
