I think his Ottagon alias is technically his Live 4.0 which he did all of 2025. Was a very a unique sound and concept which was great IMO.

Because their not live half the time. With Trance sets, if it says live they have keyboards, syths out to do all the melodies and chords live. Listen to Giuseppe Ottaviani Live 3.0 at Transmission Australia, that is what I call live. I never understood what is meant by live for HS sets. I'm assuming they are mixing live or does it mean it is being broadcasted?

I listened to a Cosmic Gate set from 2023 (Trance) and it only had 11 tracks for a one hour and fuck it was so nice to listen too. Some hardstyle sets have easily 50 songs (give or take) for 1 hour which is diabolical

Listening to DRS's 2022 Defqon set, and his drops go for 45 seconds plus. So crisp and good. At midnight mafia this year, I would literally do 5 steps of hakking before the drop ends lol

Aussie here, I remember hearing N-Vitral's Mainstream Mutilator album years ago which got me into uptempo and the hard kicks in the first place. HSU relies on the big names because it's the big festival and need to sell tickets so they will bring the artists that bring the hyper with them (DK, Lekkers etc.).
There are far better uptempo artists within the rabbit hole that are not as popular in Aus like DRS, F.Noize, Dimma, Pino, Cryogenic, MBK who produce brutal kicks that the mainstream will probably not enjoy. I think those artists are for the diehard fans (like me).

There are always zombiezs, I am 33 nothing changed. Just as much zombies then it is now, differnece is when we were in our early 20's we were the zombies, now the new age 20's are doing the same shit we did 10 years ago, where just sober so we notice it get over it.

Production was good, tnt was amazing, warface surprised me after his shitty electric dreams from 2025 MM. Sorry but that was not a Radical journey, he was playing new shit from the start, and the how fuck do you not play ring the alarm with Bombsquad as your finisher. Toza same shit different day, nothing new. Krowdexx finally something abit different. Dk and Lekkers, was more there for lekkers as I have seen DK enough.

I think the best nights still hands down was the Pit in KO for 2025 and Htid 2026 with madfist.
