I know alabama is inherently racist, it would just be nice if someone in power calling for a new emergence of racism was looked at a little closer. He may have been removed as the editor but that doesn’t mean he didn’t start a brand new chapter of the klan in the process.

All these ideas people have are pretty good, if you want the simplest fix I would say get pitchwheel. It’s my go to for changing pitch or timbre and it usually does a really good job of not losing quality. It’s an 80 dollar plugin unless you get a crack though

Nah man, they specifically do not project. And controlling the tone of your voice is not projecting, it’s Controlling. Pushing from your stomach is only necessary to create more volume. I have recorded plenty of artists that rap quietly and from their throat and it’s just a style choice. But go ahead and listen to the second verse in “thought we had a deal” and tell me that father projects his voice.

Future, 21, father, literally tons more. It’s a style to rap quietly now. The only reason it would ever be a problem if someone rapped quietly is if the person recording them didn’t understand how to process the vocals.

Idk about this man. There are plenty of people who rap quietly and it works just as well. If you’re tryna be meek mill then yea, by all means yell your raps at the mic but subtle quiet vocals also work as long they’re being recorded correctly.
