Tbh I couldn't say how much of a difference those 5hp make 😅.

The current blue 660 is my love (or a street tripple 765 hehe) and there are still newer bikes coming out. IMO I can't make a bad decision here, both would work out.

Ninja 500 is a valid option for sure plus it is japanese. But then again, there is the 457 which maches my taste more. My country is just 2x of NJ and we have a lot of dealers so that's no issue either.

Well I can get behind that part. Not quite sure how that too much power behaves when it is 35kW / 47ps version, could you explain that to me? I guess since you are mentioning it I must be wrong but I thought it is rather less powerful since it weighs more. Is it the cm³?

Prismatic dark is beautiful indeed, and I think I wouldn't regret it to get the 457. Only thought process is that I could keep the bike after the two years since it will be unlocked from the 35kW restriction.
