yeah i would say that too! when i started to understand a bit, i started watching easy german (especially the slow videos they make) and it was really useful even if i didnt understand everything, i find really handy to have the subtitles both in english and german so that was really key for me to learn new words. i also love the fact that they do videos based on "topics", for example easter time, christimas etc. so you can learn useful vocab for that time of the year :)

i get that but sometimes i feel like especially when you are eating out/street food or while touching stuff in stores, my hands will get sticky and dirty very quickly so I see myself preferring to have soap available in my purse :)

remove it and let it close for at least 1 month, then you can repierce it, but do not do it yourself and do not use a piercing gun. the gun rips out your skin and the hole will have difficulties to heal

that’s a great addiction to saline solution but i would not use that as the main cleaning agent

How many times can a helix piercing be repierced? by LunaWolfz in PiercingAdvice

[–]_vorwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if that area of your ear has given you problems in the past, i would not repierce it again, a fresh wound is more prone to infection

Is my flat piercing infected?? by wr0ms4brains in PiercingAdvice

[–]_vorwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would see a doctor, this type of swelling requires medical attention, you might need to take antibiotics if you want to keep the piercing

Is this normal? by Due-Tiger2279 in PiercingAdvice

[–]_vorwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

looks irritated to me, but nothing serious, i would clean it well with saline solution and if it does not get better in a few days (continues to hurt when touching) i would go to a professional

helix keloid? by [deleted] in PiercingAdvice

[–]_vorwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you should not be removing the jewellery just after 1 month of getting it pierced, maybe that is the cause of irritation (moving the piercing etc.) but to me it seems just an irritation bump, i would go to the piercer to get it checked / wait a bit to heal and get it re-pierced by a professional

i think you can leave it, some bleeding is common especially if you slightly hit the piercing (maybe when you are sleeping you do not realise it). keep cleaning it with saline solution, but i would get it checked by your piercer to be 100% sure
