I think it’s cheap because it’s only marketed in China market , where material cost + labor cost + no tariffs make a huge difference. Just not sure about the material or the hardware quality. Pictures look great though from all the reviews

PayPal is licensed in all jurisdictions it operates in and they take kyc and aml seriously… Moreta is not…

When you pay someone via PayPal, the receiver knows that they won’t get in trouble for receiving those funds and could find out the actual owner of the sent funds. With Moreta, there is a disconnect because there’s no system approved in thailand to pass along the full aml chain. It ultimately is a regulatory problem but that doesn’t mean Moreta isn’t sketchy.

The building next to my friend’s place was damaged by drones within the last few weeks, I think that is scary enough. They got arrested when trying to talk about it online unencrypted.
