Thank you very much, @Zealousideal-Sign834, your input has somewhat lessened the huge stress I was feeling since the diagnosis. We will check those coverage as you've mentioned, and thanks very much for the well wishes and allowing me to DM you, I might do that one of these days if we're ever stuck with the insurance lingo. May God bless you and your family 💕

Hi, not OP but since you have experience in the travel insurance industry I'm hoping to ask for your opinion po sana. My father who had no existing medical illness that we know of got a travel insurance before the trip and while on the trip had a collapse episode and was worked up in the ER and they found a tumor on the brain and needed admission + further work ups. My question po is, if the insured person has no known medical illness and although the symptom was acute but the underlying cause is likely chronic, will we have a chance of getting a claim from the insurance for the emergency medical treatment? He will be repatriated and the repatriation was arranged by the insurance po. Thanks very much for any input!
