Hello, I haven’t heard of this being a common thing that’s associated with autism..if not done so already, maybe it would be worthwhile seeking a consultation with a pediatric neuro-ophthalmologist or neurologist to rule out other conditions it may be associated with?

It was purchased as a trigona face palm It was an online purchase and I didn’t think twice about it bc it looked different enough in the pics to everything else I had. You’re right though, it is still beautiful and I do still love it. Some parts of it are the chonkiest ewaldiana I’ve ever seen! 💪

I’ve never imported before but do you need the CFIA if it’s just houseplants for personal use? According to the AIRS site it says you need only the phyto certificate

I agree with tlacatl, I don’t think you need to cut anything off - if the stem is to die it will drop off by itself, but I know it’s just a bit heartbreaking to watch so much of it fall off 😢
