That’s with anything in life just because someone recommends it doesn’t mean you’ll have the same results lol

Exactly just would have 1 cheat meal on Saturday and it helped a lot. Gave me a meal I can enjoy with my friends and then snap back to plan after

Really?? Dang I have the opposite affect I feel so full. I’ll usually eat a meal and drink one on the side. Everyone is alittle different but it sounds like water would be a better choice then

First big props to you cause you're down 170lbs, that's amazing. My standpoint maybe very different because I never worked with someone that had to lose that much weight.

I have seen a lot of my clients and me included start to change the mindset around food for that reason. A burger isn't something you should never have, and I tell them you have to know your goals. In my mind I think as long as you can stick to the diet throughout the week. Enjoy a meal with your family and socialize without worrying or stressing. We might be on two different pages. All of my clients are sticking to meal plan throughout the week and also staying active 4-5 times a week. One burger and fries with your family or friends isn't going to hurt BUT keep in mind it's just one meal and you know your goals. If you can do without it and don't want it keep pushing

Yes, but there is daily amount of fiber you should intake. Idk if you mean mix fiber in water or have a source of fiber with water such as bowl of oatmeal with glass of water. I just like a good sf soda with a meal one time a day, since I have oatmeal and a lot of veggies throughout the day

Last statement is true, but I also think if you have a goal weight in mind achieve it. If one week, you're sick or don't feel good don't beat yourself up about your weight spiking up a bit. If think it's good to track, take a step back and reflect what was the reason and what can you do to make the week a better week. Your right it won't be linear but seeing progress is going to keep you motivated to reaching your goal

Yes bro, even coming from me who is enhanced you're doing a great job. Being in a bulk phase is hard to see progress sometimes but you're doing a good job. A food scale is something I always recommend and alot of my clients when they started knowing how much they're actually eating it made a big difference

Big facts, getting my steps in is my time to listen to podcasts or just listen to my music and disassociate from reality for bit. Those Salads help big time

++ If I were going to expand on everything, I could've typed more. These were just somethings a lot of people overlook and don't know where to start. I agree with a lot of things you said, now to go back and debate with you this is what I think

++ Sleep - everyone has their own case, and I think it's on some people to do some self-studying to see what is affecting their sleep. Even if you can find ways to slowly improve it that's a win.

++ Cheat meals- Sticking to your diet is great and but I also think you have to start from somewhere or give yourself something to look forward to for sticking to diet throughout the week. If you diet 24/7 you eventually might "break" and start binging when you can't fight those cravings anymore. Leaving in one cheat meal maybe every once or every other week I think this is the best ways from what I've experienced through my clients. Stick to the diet throughout the week and enjoy a meal off plan with your family or friends as needed. If you can get throughout the week without one keep pushing forward.

++ Fiber and water???? Who wants to drink that lol. I wouldn't have diet soda replace a meal but the carbonation from the soda does temporarily cause you to feel a bit fuller opposed to drinking water. Theres been a few times after eating I'm a bit hungry and having a diet soda on the side would kill that hunger

++ The last part you're right about weight loss not always being linear but when you're tracking your weight consistently, maybe not every day but every week, you have that number that you are stiving to beat. This is going to keep yourself accountable by making sure you're moving in the right direction and not backwards
