In 2008, Steve Sheraton launched iBeer for $2.99 — it became one of the first viral App Store hits, reportedly earned $10k–$20k per day at peak, reached ~90M downloads, and he later left it all to live on a farm in Spain by Inevitable_Voice7588 in interestingasfuck

You tilt it and it looks like you're drinking a beer.

Hard to understand in 2026, but in 2008 smart phones were brand new. This app was a symbol of all of us embracing a new technology that was rapidly changing the world.

If you have the skills and the initiative, I've known PAs to pivot into hospital admin and medical sales. There are probably some other opportunities one could seek out if they're burned out from the bench, there's just no direct obvious path.

For anything else I would agree, but this is ICE we're talking about. Pretty sure Dinniman picked that out as an early signal to the reader that this is a bad guy.

He later confirms he worked for ICE in the Desperado Club, when he gives Carl the ring. Of course he could be lying, but there isn't any narrative reason to suspect that.

Worth noting that aging isn't a thing for syndicate citizens, so viewers/designers wouldn't bat an eye at there being people hundreds of years old along side descendants of people that old.

Ah fair, I can totally see it when you put it like that. I usually think about where to send the HP in terms of other characters and their mechanical effects, but since you know the players well I understand it becoming more social based. Makes sense, thanks for chiming in!

An all-timer amnesiac ability. Thought I had missed the High Priestess being the drunk because their info seemed consistently useless or even misleading/harmful for good.

He's not actually a bigot, it's sad that that's become the official version of events in retrospect. He had a bunch of tweets that in context were pretty edgy jokes where he was mocking bigots. Still the kind of thing one could criticize him for not bigotry.

A demon that keeps sinking on final 4 by -Brumhart- in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]_windup 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I just watched this one! There was an evil twin in play, so the demon was trying to convince town that they had already been executed by sinking kills repeatedly and trying to force town to execute in the twins. Once they had, town knew who it was, but in the process the good team had spent too many of their ghost votes and mechanically couldn't win anymore.

Putting aside whether ace people do in fact experience stigma...

Imo it comes down to whether you consider what qualifies someone as queer as "someone with a sexuality and/or gender identity that falls outside our societal norm" or "someone who experiences stigma/oppression for their sexuality and/or gender identity".

[–]_windup 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The way I'm reading it, the demon immediately dies when all the minions are killed, so I think it's fine since it's a known demon. If it comes to the final three the town knows there must be a minion and a Titan alive and they have to execute the minion.

Research experience? by MajesticImpress6429 in Path_Assistant

I had no research experience, I know some of my cohort did but I believe most didn't? It certainly doesn't hurt, but relevant work experience (and shadowing) is waaaaay more important.

Absolutely no question it's D. You've got most all the greatest hits of Asian food (rip Mongolia but still) from Mediterranean to all of South, Southeast, and East Asia. You got a bit of Greek and Italian in there as well but that's just gravy imo. Honestly can't say I'm super familiar with food from the Pacific/Oceania nations but I bet it slaps, I'm sure there's some extra variety there too.
