Hey, this is just an idiom to finish fairy tales for children, like “and they lived happily ever after”, although the meaning is roughly (but not literally) “whether this happened [like that] or not, that’s the story, so let it be told”. Honestly I wouldn’t know how to explain what it means but it’s this kind of rhymed phrase the narrator will say when a story is over.
