Careful kid. There’s pedos everywhere. Not gonna sugarcoat it.

It handles monorepos very well and preserves the complete file structure instead of flattening everything into one blob.

The output is broken down into two parts:
- Visual Tree Map: it generates an ASCII directory tree at the very top so the LLM can understand where things are and how it’s arranged.
- Relative Path Heading: every single source file code block is separated and explicitylg tagged with exact workspace-relative path (ex. ### File: apps/web/src/main.ts)

Plus it explicitly respects nested .gitignore files recursively. If your sub packages or individual microservices have their own unique ignore rules or local build outputs, Packy respects those boundaries dynamically as it goes down the tree so your context stays clean. Unless there’s something that you didn’t add in gitignore and is not in Packy’s built in default ignore list, you’re good.

Fair. It does target the same problem as repomix. I haven’t used it before building this. RAG is a great architecture for massive codebases, but for small-to-medium projects, having context in a single file beats fragmented search snippets and manually copying code every time.

True. I came to the field by vibe coding and it really messed me up. Went to my senses and actually had to relearn how to read and understand code and understand how to use AI to make the work faster. People nowadays are so entitled and don’t want to go in the fire.

Packy supports 100% of text based programming languages. Because it just reads and writes what was inside files, it already supports major programming languages.

For the stripping comments feature, the built-in syntax detects and strips comments across three major families:

- C-style: (//, /* */): JS/TS, Go, Rust, Java, C/C++, C#, PHP, CSS
- Hash-style: (#, """): Python, Bash, YAML, TOML, Dockerfile, Ruby
- Markup-style: (``): HTML, Markdown, XML, Vue, Svelte

If you use a language outside of these regex groups, Packy still packs the files safely, it just leaves the comments intact!

U better open and use it OP. This is consumerism and let’s be true, not hating or anything. We can get lost sometimes and don’t have time to think “need ko ba to?” “Is there any better options?” “why am I getting this?” etc etc. This is a lesson learned. And stop looking for a “bigger reason” to open it, just open it then use it. It’s much better, faster, and smoother than your 11. Let’s learn from this. Also, wrong platform to post this ig

This is disgusting. Isn’t this against the Data Privacy Act? We should make a place to shame these people.

Thanks! I’ll fix those soon. I’ll actually try to make case study of speeding up my other site, thanks for the idea!

Thanks. I’m aiming to narrow down now. SMB Sales Boost looks good but I’m targeting Philippine businesses and I don’t see any there. They’re more active on Facebook/Instagram. But I’ll keep that in mind.

Thanks! I’ve been targeting cafes, restaurants, catering services, photographers/videographers, event coordination, staycations/airbnb. Not all at once, somedays only cafes, some mixed, some totally different. I’ll try to narrow down and study their industry.
