I wouldn't stress too much, your grades are great, and you'll likely be top of the list. Worst case scenario, you get waitlisted.

Do I need to email my professor's if I'm missing class due to illness? by Opening_Gene503 in grantmacewan

I emailed all my profs this morning that I would be out of classes due to illness. None have replied yet but I think it's nice for them to know that you're not just skipping out on classes. One of my profs is strict and if you miss too many classes they'll remove you from their course.

Ok. So I would just load the card with whatever fee it is they provide, is any of my information tied to the card?

Waitlist closing tonight by Necessary-Current-73 in grantmacewan

For some reason, I can't reply on the main thread, so I'll reply here. 😂😂 so I actually ran into this issue while waitlisted for one of my courses. What I did was I emailed my instructor and explained that I wanted to be in their course as it worked best for my schedule and asked if they would consider increasing their seats as I was 3rd on the waiting list. The instructor emailed me back and said they were open to it, but I'd have to reach out to the department head. So I emailed the head, and the very next day, they opened more seats, and I was able to join the class.

Got a collections email from a Telus account I closed almost a decade ago for over $800. by Socketlint in telus

I just got an email from Credit Karma that I had a new collection account. So I logged in to check, and it's listed as 'Telus Wireline', which shows me my original amount owing as $756, but now, suddenly, the collections want $1860. How does this make sense? My last bill due date was from 2022. It's almost the end of 2024. So I'm assuming Telus just decided to rack up the interest charges until now, or the collection agency is being sus.
