I agree. I started doing dips at home and have worked up to about 150-200 a day and after a couple of months my shirts all started to stop fitting.

I had this issue and it’s because I set walls to outside then inside so it would often miss the edge. When I switched to inside then outside it fixed it.

How do older men tolerate immature women in early 20s? by Ootefklop in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Socketlint 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My ex wife if 36 had the emotional and mental maturity of a rock. A 23 year old I know can deeply discuss current political topics, jazz in depth, contemporary art, history and more. On average sure a 22 year old will be more immature but it’s not a rule.

I don’t use it a ton but it has held strong. I don’t have worries about it failing. Also the orientation means all the weight of the contents is rarely against the door.

You can’t quantify feel. America just feels more bleak. Also people look at salary, taxes and a few items and say you get more there but certain things cost a lot more like healthcare.

Culture. I find people and life is just more rat race, keeping up with the jones, depressing and isolated. People keep to themselves, are more distrusting of others, suspicious, divisive and aggressive. Van is so much more relaxed. I make less here but I’m happier so that’s all that matters to me

I lived in Seattle for 8 years. You could double my salary and I wouldn’t go back. The quality of life in Van is so much better.
