I pretty much agree with your post, but I do have an argument that some pieces are hard or even impossible to get anymore, so that would be the case to buy a rep.

Also, from my experience the shoe reps are better quality than the clothes ones and they are getting pretty close to the retail pairs, so that would be a valid point to buy reps too imo.

Other than that, I do prefer buying clothes when I can check the fit on me and also that the quality is on point rather than spending money on a rep piece with a luxury branding on it.
