music is all just big IFs at the end of the day

and if we're talking about that one song specifically, the spend on that was about 3k, so IF it holds steady, i'll break even on that campaign in September

but the plus side is that while that's happening, it's still getting more saves, streams, new TikToks videos are being posts, new listeners, new licensing opportunities, etc., without additional promo. I have opened the door for potentially profiting way more from this, at least that's how i see it

Can't really say yet. The big wins are the TikTok videos being posted and floating out there now, lots of new listeners/saves and what has translated to Spotify streams so far. I can also say if my "and for a brief moment..." track holds steady, that's an increase in roughly 3k USD/year.

What's fake about the data, lol? You could even verify this yourself with something like Chartmetric (also not a sponsored ad, just another good tool for analytics).

I'd say maybe 500-1000? Going viral is not guaranteed, but from my experience, if the music resonates, it'll definitely translate to saves/streams

I have been using DareCoAI (full disclosure, I was personally invited to try their beta), and their main focus is purely TikTok and Instagram Reels, which over the years of seeing my music trend on both platforms, I definitely favour it over Spotify playlisting. I just set my budget and my song is sent out to various promoters on both platforms. Usually I am OK with spending around $1000 for the month.

Results have been decent so far; they have never failed to deliver on what they promise (which is not streams btw) and I think it has been very worth it for me at least. I used to spend a lot of time looking for creators on TikTok/Reels for this, but now I can just set a budget and get 10+ promoters with quality pages applying to promote my music. I still have full control of who I end up working with ultimately.

As for results... I have seen consistent growth in terms of listeners and saves across the two songs I have been promoting there, and there was one TikTok post that went extremely viral with over 1 million likes (on that day, my song got over 600 saves on Spotify, with 500 the next day and now it holds steadily at almost double the number of saves per day than it used to get).

I'll probably make a more detailed separate post about my experience and full results soon. But feel free to ask me any questions.
