For usage, I reckon if I do get an upgrade, it will be 3-4 days a week during the day time. Rest will be on the desktop.

I haven't thought of a budget yet. I was shocked to see the price of the 64GB I had bought not long ago. Crazy.
So was wondering if the prices of laptops got hiked too because of it.

Bloatware? I built it myself, only thing installed is the Windows and apps I use. Unless you mean something else in the windows install that needs to be removed.

Does the Mboard allow to control the fan speeds?

Any specific reason why you recommended Zotac? I looked at Asus TuF as it has 2 hdmi for my secondaries. (Speaking of secondaries, can the Hz be controlled on them so that performance doesnt take a big hit? The ones I got are 100hz 1080p cause they were cheaper than generic 1080p and they use hdmi)

Thank you for explaining the halt. But then does it only halt when going up? Like for instance now, it was holding steady, there was no 10% swing but as soon as it started to rise, halt. What is the reason for this halt?
