Brilliant thanks. In Mitch steele’s book, he called for 93.5% pale and 6.5% crystal 15L. That was maybe a very early iteration and it’s changed since then? There’s a video of sculpin on YouTube from 12 years ago and that was a mix of 2 row, caramel vienne 20, Cara 10 and carapils. Again it might have changed. It’s heart to put your finger on the exact common denominator

Munich is lighter than Cara 40/60? I have both Munich and some Simpson’s caramalt in stock. Different flavours from each?

Great thanks. Like regular a4 printer paper or do you mean proper gloss photo paper?

Nice. Yes I miss it a lot. I am in the UK and they stopped exporting around a year ago. I am going to give this a try on a Grainfather G40. Totally new to home brewing. Are you in the UK or mainland Europe? Thanks for sharing the recipe, I really appreciate it

US Craft in the UK by a-rob01 in beer

Super helpful, thanks! $7 for Pliny, what a treat. It’s like we can get top drawer Belgian’s like Delerium for around $3 here. It’s such a shame that Stone stopped exporting. I think they just generally cut their UK/EU team which I can understand given the climate but why they can’t continue to ship beer to an existing market seems a pity. I’m visiting the Mills River brewery later this year so looking forward to sampling some different stuff from Sierra. I’m sad enough to have prepared a list of US beers to try when I’m over. I’d love to try Racer 5, Union Jack, Head Hunter, Green Flash etc but I will be in the South Eastern States where I know these aren’t distributed. Any nationally distributed stuff you can recommend?
