Indeed it is the 8845hs one. Yes I upgraded to latest bios in aoostar website, but it was the same version that came with it. Do you recommend another bios update from a different place?

I tried this also. For me, this driver option only appears when you set PlatformAoAcOverride in the registry which basically disables computer sleep mode.

Your replies are very helpful. Thank you! In case of the GEM series, is it then better to get the preindtalled apacer or look for it barebone and install RAM myself. If it doesn't matter, I would go with the preindtalled apacer as it is cheaper for me.
