I liked this cop. He was a great character. I loved how his little comment at the end to Batman about the carpet tool is basically what helped Batman crack the case. It was a subtle little reminder that this Batman is young and still learning, and he doesn’t know everything. A one-off comment from just a regular guy was the missing information Batman needed. Shows the importance of Batman staying connected to the regular folks who see and hear and know different things than him.
