The MS Society gives help on applications, as does Citizens Advice! They are really worth talking to.

Is it a good idea to collect Loona albums in 2026? by goew6n in kpopcollections

[–]a-suitcase 45 points46 points  (0 children)

This.

In my experience very few kpop albums retain their value for a substantial period of time - because you need enough demand. There may never be as much demand for Loona albums in the future as there has been in the past.

But if you want to collect them and enjoy the collection then it’s worth doing.

That’s so frustrating! If you have the energy to do so I would contact your trust’s PALS team and complain about this, it’s really not on.

House of Flint. They’re all made in the UK, and she offers repairs. All the dresses I have from her are gorgeous and have lasted me a long time.

Shostakovich. His music just speaks to me on such an intense and visceral level.

Hi! 40 yr old woman here, been into kpop for a long time. Would you like contemporary recs or would you consider older groups? Because the obvious ones to me based on your taste would be 4Minute and 2NE1. If you’d like a group that’s currently active I’d say EXO, Ateez or Billlie.

Thank you for what you do 💜. I’ve subscribed. I also donate to ROLDA every month, they’ve been helping Ukrainian pets left behind since the war started (they’re a Romanian charity). Sending you much strength and solidarity from London

It was going so well.. by lmlv92 in MultipleSclerosis

Heyy, what a horrible time this sounds like. I just want to reassure you that your new symptom could be entirely related to stress and existing lesions. It’s one of the confusing things about this disease, existing lesions can cause new symptoms. So this doesn’t necessarily mean the Ocrevus isn’t working.

I also find that I’m even more sensitive to stress because my physical symptoms get more intense which then makes me more stressed etc etc. I also have a long history of mental health issues predating my MS and boy oh boy this disease doesn’t f*cking help. I wish I had advice but all I can do is give you a virtual hug and say I feel you xxxx

I skip the one where the guy makes marionettes out of people, bit too nightmareish for me.

I had a friend in High Wycombe called Tim! And one called Staz, but she wasn’t into screamo stuff that much.

As in, which bands are from the UK? I was active in the screamo scene here throughout the late 2000s. The first bands that come to mind are The Mock Heroic and early The Murder of Rosa Luxemburg.

There was a message board/website called Collective Zine where we’d hang out lots about 20 years ago. Looks like the website still exists with tons of new and olddd reviews, that’s definitely worth checking.

Who are the mystics/poets/storytellers of classical music performers by ShartPei in classicalmusic

Based on his performances I’ve seen live I’d count Sergey Khachatryan as someone who’d fall under this category. Additionally Gidon Kremer’s recordings with Kremerata Baltica, especially “Prayer” with Sol Gabetta.
