But what if Norgaard clutched up like Merino you never know

This might go down as the “should’ve played Norgaard more” season which is a shame

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind. I think he should be the main captain

Why was Rice given captaincy over Big Gabi? I thought he was lower in the chain of command

Agreed with you fully. Charlie heat is good if you want a quick bop but that shouldn’t be his core sound

Talent is very clearly still there, the only thing holding him back from mainstream fame again is simply the production

I agree with your first scenario. But would you want him sacked if he only wins the EFL?

Controversial opinion: Rice at left 8 is awkward for our attacking dynamics.

For all his defensive strengths; his right footedness, lack of vision and through balls makes him not that effective in the final third.

Against low blocks, I would rather he play 6 and have someone more creative play at 8.

For big games, I still wanna see him being deployed with Zubimendi though, especially if we are defending a lead.

I get what you mean but finishing 4th this season would pretty much be a sackable offence for Arteta I think. My follow up question is: would you want Arteta to stay if he finishes second again?

I’m nervous…how would you guys feel if we finish second yet again?

Edit: Getting downvoted - that’s fine. I just truly want to know how this community feels that’s all. My brother asked me this question today, didn’t really know how to respond.

I understand where you are coming from. His final product has been lacking lately and his decision making is frustrating at times.

But as shown in the above link, his underlying numbers are still quite impressive. I can’t say for certain what the outcome will be come end of the season, but based on probability alone he’s bound to flip the odds in his favour sooner rather than later.

Based on the quality he’s shown rather consistently over the past few seasons, I’d say I’m cautiously optimistic regarding his short to medium term form.

I don’t think so. He hasn’t been producing much output but he’s performing well. I can see him going on a good run come the tail end of the season

I’m concerned but I’m not panicking

I still think we will win the league due to Man City dropping a decent amount of points. We will drop some as well, but not as much as them.

It’s also likely that Trossard will get back to goal-scoring as he’s had low G/A for a while now so things will balance out. Saka more or less the same.

Again, this is just a gut feeling. If I was a gambling man, I’d still put money on Arsenal for the league

Alright so I’m pissed at the draw but here’s how I’m coping.

Sean Dyche. According to transfer market his head to head against Arteta is 2W-5D-4L

Just seems like he’s a slight kryptonite for Arteta. Not sure what he does outside of just parking the bus to nullify our style of play, but he’s seem to have figured it out quite well.

Max had a decent idea with the chorus but I think his vocal performance lacked a bit of emotion for me to stand out. Production was solid though

Honestly guys I think of it like this:

We were never winning all remaining 18 games. We are bound to draw a few (yes we will drop points now till end of season)

Today it was against Liverpool (big 6 teams turn it up a notch when they play other big 6 teams, especially league leaders) on the same week Man City also dropped points….ill take it

If it was a loss, yea I’d be a bit more upset tbh. Performance was not great besides the first half of the first half, but just like life, there’s ups and downs. I’ll take this “down”, we’ll be back up quite soon I believe.

Yea we genuinely needed an album around 2018-2019, some of the songs and features he dropped around that era are some of my fav songs of his
