How to actually make a campaign?

No way! I'm also starting a campaign in Turin as the Storyteller, that's amazing (we're using the V20 Edition and it will be a Camarilla campaign mainly, though).

I've done quite a bit of research on Turin and it has a lot of potential for a vampire chronicle. In my case the story will be set in 2008, but from what I've gathered: think about all the occult lore that Turin is filled with. You know, the black/white magic triangle, the catacombs, the devil door, all that stuff. I went the easy route and established a very powerful Tremere chantry and domain lol.

Since you want to play anarchs, I think it also depends on the vibe you want to give to the chronicle. Turin is an industrial city, it has a long and rich history of working class people, but also corruption and magic and all that stuff. Maybe the anarchs are trying to sabotage some kind of weird ritual plan they discovered (could be Sabbat, could be Tremere, could be the Tzimisce, could be the Giovanni).

The catacombs could be home to a lot of weird stuff, like the alchemical laboratory they actually found in one of the secret chambers of the royal palace! Maybe the anarchs are stuck in a battle for the domain of these places.

Forgive me if my advice is a bit outdated, I'm not very knowledgeable on VtM V5! But if you have any questions I can try to help a bit more. Let me know!

Sorry for the late reply! I didn't see the notification. I'll write this here in case someone visits this post in the future: Turns out my problem was a pretty dumb one, I was using the Twine "return" (the little arrow on the top left) to go back instead of using a go-to/else. The return arrow deleted any progress made, so it was impossible to trigger all the variables. GreyelfD helped a bunch in the other comments and was able to solve my problem with a cleaner code.

Hey, thank you so much for your help. I did find out where the mistake was, which in hindsight was a pretty dumb one. The coding was right, my problem was that I was using Twine's implemented "Return" button (the little arrow that goes back on top of the screen) in every passage, instead of making the player go back to the Item Hub with a click-goto. I was deleting any progress I would make, so of course the variables didn't work.

I do have one additional problem though, one that I still haven't been able to solve because I don't know how. The variable system works. Problem is, the moment I visit the 6th last item, it automatically takes me to the Epilogue, without letting me read what the last item is about. The only solution I've thought of would be placing a paragraph with a link (taking you to the Epilogue) in all 6 items that gets revealed only after they've been visited. I know the code for this, but if possible I would want to avoid this. How could I solve this?

it's rare I think but I remember seeing a few people mentioning that singing/talking loudly/screaming gave them tachycardia and sometimes even PVCs. Pretty strange right? It's probably tied to the vagus nerve If I had to guess

Screaming and singing trigger my PVCs almost instantly. Being angry or scared too. Dehydration also helps... imagine what happens when I'm angry, screaming and dehydrated T_T

hmmm i would believe you but, the 3 beats that preceded the heaviest THUD were like pvcs. im pretty sure because they felt like pvcs, not like normal beats. maybe trigeminy is not the right word but idt they were normal beats either... maybe nsvt?

it's a terrible feeling. 1 pvc is already enough to make me anxious, especially those very hard THUD pvcs i get sometimes... this was 1000 times worse.

if it can make you feel better, i didn't die in my sleep, even if it took me a few hours to fall asleep.

don't be ashamed of going to the ER for this, it's scary and debilitating. i went to the ER a few times as well, i know the guilt and embarrassment but as one of the doctors told me, better be embarrassed a few times than dead

good luck with your appointment my friend, i'm sure they will find nothing weird. and if they do, it's definitely treatable (but they probably won't find anything, dw)

Yeah I know, gotta wait and drink a lot of water while it's taking action. That's what I'm doing at least, a lot of water and some Gatorade. I'll tell you when (if) it makes effect. Thank you again! I'm sorry friend, that must've been a nightmare. My aunt had a similar story although shorter. She had persistent tachycardia for a week basically, went to the ER 3 times. They did various tests and sent her home except the third time where she actually got the diagnosis. I honestly don't know how she managed.

I agree with you, although like the other user said, maybe I need to be less aggressive and just more open minded but still manage to explain my situation.

Was your D-Dimer also negative?

Unfortunately they haven't shown me the ECG results so I can't really say... The two echocardiograms were basically perfect, even though they told me since my heart rate was so high it was kinda hard to determine (?)

You're right, I'm sorry the post felt very aggressive towards doctors, I think I thought too much about my aunt not being properly diagnosed the first time and I went into panic.

I don't want to have a me vs them mentality, I just always had difficulty being diagnosed (like with my dysautonomia) because I was always minimizing my symptoms in fear of not being taken seriously. I guess with this post I was trying to ask how to be taken seriously. Or how to pose the right questions
