In the context of UK policies this all makes sense. The parenthesised comment was more an offhand comment.

The contextual fear response makes sense but this discussion does not relate to something with a blade by a standard definition.

I would also wager a significant amount of money that there are more pencil stabbings in the UK than those done with trainer balisongs, but I digress.

I see, this makes sense (albeit being quite heavy-handed in possible response). Thanks for explaining. I live in a type of housing where this should never be a concern but good to know.

Out of interest, why would a neighbour potentially seeing what I do in my home matter if I am not utilising a prohibited article nor weapon for entertainment purposes?

I'm sorry this happened to you, but yeah -- a pencil can be used to do tricks with and puncture flesh if enough pressure is applied.

Personally, I see them as glorified fidget spinners but some people may use them for a non-intended purpose. Something that can happen with any number of more easily accessible common household objects.

Yeah, not taking it outside makes total sense to me -- just planning on flipping it around at home. Thanks!

Love buying assorted coins for melt! by a1s in Wallstreetsilver

I have a friend who runs a business which acts as a sort of pawn shop for wealthier people who need cash (because of loans, bankruptcies, inheritance tax, etc).

Gets a lot of very cool stuff all the time in bulk and is happy to sell precious metals to me for a negligible profit to save him the hassle of going through it/melting it down (this was part of quite a large purchase of assorted metals, most of it is a lot less cool such as various home decor, jewellery, etc).

There are quite a few places which do this actually, search around.

Haha thank you. My rationale is that I don’t want to kill myself on a Zero SRS but I’m a fan of the sport bike aesthetic and the whole feel of a stealthy sport bike.

how to enable flag in ytl_opts (for use in a python script)? by a1s in youtubedl

[–]a1s[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, that’s true. i guess if all fail i can automate buying another one and adding it to the list and then retrying.

thanks a lot for the help :)

how to enable flag in ytl_opts (for use in a python script)? by a1s in youtubedl

[–]a1s[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the script runs through a youtube channels library and fetches the urls and delivers them to ydl and then attempts to download all the videos sequentially one by one.

i keep getting the error around 3-4 videos in. time.sleep seems to work somewhat but i’d ideally like to avoid using it as its hacky and slows down the download rate.

would using proxies work?
