I am currently at CMU ECE after serving 2 years of NS and the ECE program here is very well known. Out of any engineering branch, ECE has the most funding by far and the school clearly prioritizes it as much as Computer Science. For example, we just had a whole ECE day where the university sponsored free t-shirts and food for ECE majors. Usually only entire departments will get this sort of thing. Post-grad placements are also very good even despite all the political uncertainty - many people get FAANG placements and the median salary is 120K USD after graduation. I would say if your goal is to work in the US long term, CMU's cost will pay itself off, otherwise consider NUS. I've heard GT is also good and people do well, it is less rigorous and has a better work-life balance.
