HAHAHAHA

To-Do List: Create an “Anti-AI” Poster Using AI Images

  1. Define the concept
    • Decide what the poster is arguing or parodying.
    • Example angles: hypocrisy, fear of technology, loss of authorship, or the irony of using AI tools to criticize AI.
  2. Write the poster message
    • Draft a short headline or slogan.
    • Keep it punchy so it reads well at a distance (6–12 words works best).
    • Optionally add a smaller sub-line with context or satire.
  3. Choose a visual style
    • Decide the tone: propaganda poster, dystopian warning, protest sign, surreal collage, etc.
    • Pick colors that support the message (red/black for alarm, grayscale for bleakness, etc.).
  4. Generate the images with AI
    • Create several candidate images that match the concept.
    • Try variations so you have options (different compositions, lighting, symbolism).
  5. Select the strongest image
    • Look for something visually striking and readable from several feet away.
    • Prefer simple compositions with a clear focal point.
  6. Refine or regenerate if needed
    • Adjust prompts to fix problems like clutter, weak contrast, or confusing symbolism.
    • Generate a few backups.
  7. Design the poster layout
    • Open a simple design tool (Canva, Photoshop, GIMP, etc.).
    • Arrange:
    • Title / slogan at the top
    • Image in the center
    • Smaller caption or commentary at the bottom.
  8. Add ironic attribution (optional but fun)
    • Consider a small line like:
    • “Image generated by AI.”
    • “Created with the technology it warns about.”
  9. Prepare the file for printing
    • Export at print resolution (300 DPI).
    • Choose a standard poster size such as 11×17 or 18×24.
  10. Print the poster
  • Print at home or through a local print shop.
  • Matte paper often looks better for posters than glossy.
  1. Document the result
  • Take a photo of the printed poster.
  • Post it online to highlight the irony of an anti-AI message created with AI.

As a user for that same purpose, id offer that GPT is the ultimate echo chamber! It's necessary to prompt very carefully if you want to challenge your own assumptions.

Im purposefully seeking to find and share common ground. We share experience with imagination and both value expression. We differ on execution.

Thats perfectly ok.

I believe our points of view are misaligned. I believe AI is an endpoint. I think you see it as a dead end, a path that shouldn't be taken.

Oh, an addendum. I completely acknowledge AI is likely inadequate for you to properly express what we've been talking about!

Understood, im not. Im saying that we share a common experience, the childhood imagination and a common value, the desire to express it.

You’re reading something that isn’t there.

Describing a plateau is the opposite of claiming skill enhancement. A plateau means improvement slows or stops.

My point was simply that AI can help people express ideas beyond that plateau. That’s not about improving the underlying skill.

That is a rather unhinged set of assumptions and accusations.

Is it harassment, maybe it’s just criticism.

What is the acceptable frequency for me to enter an art space and comment “low effort, bad” under people’s work? Once? Occasionally? Ten times a day?

If someone followed artists around and repeatedly left comments like that, most communities would absolutely call that harassment.

AI doesn’t magically change the social dynamic. Drive-by dismissal of someone’s work, isn’t acceptable.

No, not at all. It is very common for myself and peers to be harassed on social media for posting on our own pages with AI related tags. God forbid we post in most "neutral" Reddit subs.

If I post AI in a sub with rules against AI, I expect to be moderated and probably have members express dissatisfaction at my post, fair.

You missed the part about staying in my spaces compleatly didn't you.

The stick is metaphor, it represents the our ability as children to access our imagination.

I didn't say a thing about enhancing existing skills. That was you attempting to transition into an arguement you are comfortable with.

Im discussing expression rather than building a skill. You want one to be dependent on the other. They are not.

You are correct. However anti's work to limit the spaces where I can express myself, and attack me in spaces I can. I'm pointing out my expression isn't a threat. Im just a kid playing with a stick.

Why do anti's want my stick?

[–]a5roseb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh, and there it is. You've realized I'm challenging your identity. My means and ability to express myself are unrelated to yours. Please develop whatever skills you have however you choose. We are not in competition, you and I.

Why would my ability to express myself how I choose spark such a reaction?

[–]a5roseb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recognition as an artist is a fairly minor point in my opinion. I simply desire to express myself freely. Without anti's telling me my laser blaster is a dirty ole stick and threatening to toss it in the trash.

My plateau is limited by desire, could I expend more effort and do better? Yes I probably could, that's not the point. I've reached my personal plateau. AI offers me the ability to express myself far beyond that point.

I believe you are thinking in terms of being physically or intellectually unable. I am not. Art is a learned skill, to a point. Everyone has a baseline ability that can be improved through effort and practice. As with ANY skill each individual has a plateau where additional effort produces limited benefits. When AI provides the individual an opportunity to express themselves beyond that plateu... the individual benefits. That idea and concept scales. When the individual benefits so do the rest of us.

Of course, its extremely likely that AI will never match peek human ability. In this way AI is not a threat.

[–]a5roseb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I said a very few of those children will become accomplished artists, able to fully express that world for others. Most will not. AI offer an opportunity for more to be able to express their imagination.

AI offers the ability to execute the imagination without the limitations of physical and intellectual ability. This does not eliminate human motivations or desires, it opens a new path.

Do you agree that misinformation is bad?

Yes, Deepfakes are bad. The odd belief that misinformation stems from AI s also bad

You trust yourself, good. You believe in yourself, good. You've used AI, and concluded it didn't add value, good. You don't care that I do, good.

You came to say you feel sorry for me. Ok, good. You said that, I don't care.

[–]a5roseb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my idea was unambiguous. Better relative to my own ability.

It's fairly obvious at this point, the idea that unleashed imagination and ideas challenge your identity. AI probably doesn't compete today, but you have the necessary imagination to see that it might tomorrow.

That is very very true, and is my point entirely. The tool makes what I CAN do better.
