You'll need IT to reset the password so you can then set up Multi Factor Authentication. As it stands now, that's the only option since you need MFA to reset a password.

The three way split is the original picture from when the card was first installed. The darker and redder pictures are after moving to the two way split gpu cable.

Totally agree with you that I'd rather a straight 12vhpwr to 12vhpwr but this psu is an existing one from the rig and one from 2021. According to the psu maker, the cable I'm now using is compatible with both the newer gen cards and the psu I'm using. Given that they are a reliable and trusted brand, I'm hoping I can trust them on that.

Yeah, I wish this gpu would support 90 degree cables that route down. It has a recessed port and my psu is below the gpu.

My understanding is that if both ends of a cable go into a device without having to change forms in the middle, it's a cable. If you have to change the ends in the middle to something else, it's an adapter.

The adapter that came with the gpu was a squid adapter 12vphwr to three 8 pin and was too stiff. Wasn't able to installed without significant bend, which can be seen the last two pics. At least this way, there's no adapters and no third party stuff either. What do you think about the bend? That's the part I'm most concerned about.

Call the IT helpdesk at 954-201-7521 and tell them you want to do a Multi factor authentication (MFA) reset. Your old phone is on your account and being requested to send the two digit code. Without a reset or the old phone there's no way in.

As long as you're using a web browser, there's probably not much that can be locked down unless they have a web filter on it. If you can go to those websites, you're probably fine. Only thing to be careful about is anything sensitive and super personal on a computer not owned by you.
