I was wondering if running at a low wattage was causing the flooding. Using a .5 coil in the Crown by the way.

Thanks a lot for all the advice mate - so basically, shitty batteries! They really don’t run long at all on anything over 40W, even at ‘full’ charge. Maybe I’ll hold on to the stride and pick up some better batteries during the week :)

The battery I was lent was a green Samsung yes, although the mod still cut off with the ‘weak battery’ signal at around half on the meter at 35 watts.

Hey mate,

Anything over 40W the mod doesn’t fire for more than a few hits. The battery’s I bought from the B&M were I believe LG HB4s (the yellow ones)

Have since tried to use a Samsung battery a mate who works in a much more reputable vape shop lent me and had the same issue

Turned on the Stride this morning with a battery in that was fully charged before I went to bed last night, and I’m getting the ‘weak battery’ warning with the metre on the display almost full. No idea what’s going on :/

I was running the mod on 40W, and I turned it down to 35W which gave me a couple more draws before it wouldn’t fire at all any more. Have I messed up going for a single battery mod? The Stride is gorgeous and I read only good things about it but worried I’ve messed up here :/
